Project is looking Good...

Hi Everyone!!
I promised to post some Tea shirt
Blocks, they are 18" x 18" unfinished
I have 40 with the Center Block
so I have enough to make the King
size quilt that my customer wants.
I have somewhere between 7 and 10 different
colors going. So I will start at the middle and work
out with green her favorite, then blue, red and work all the lesser
colors towards the out side. I have not decided how big a border
I will use yet, maybe between 6" to 10. I cannot wait till it is finished.
I will take photo's of the finished quilt, and the Quilt case to carry it in, I will
use all the left over strips, scraps and rope to pull tie it.
Hope to see everyone at the store and sign up for the free monthly
give away. I was going to add new patterns, but maybe the New year.
We have been having such nice you (Know What), I am scared to talk about it.
Mother nature might decide to dump a ton of somthing on us. But Wisconsin is
so pretty till the bad you (Know What) comes along. It is December and so nice
outside, cold but nice and sunny., we had a little rain on the weekend but nice now.
I think I will make a pattern for the tea shirt quilt up, and put it on the web store after I finish it. I realy was not hard, just a lot of sewing. I did come across a very important nessasary tool for putting the shirt fabric together. You have to use only SEWABLE fusion backing. If not you will have to put more fabric on top of the back to keep your needle from sticking while sewing and have extra cover on your ironing board. That really was the only problem I had, because I was trying to use up soms old I had. I had plenty of strips. If you have been to the web store, I have a big choice of colors. They make it very easy to do blocks also.
The Quilting Bee sent in some good riddles and storys. I have a short one..
Thanks to Margie..
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may
not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the heck alone.
(No Bad Words).
See you at the Store..
Connie & Ms Tibbs..
