Hi EVERYONE..

 

Hope everyone is fine and working on a project made of fabric and involves sewing. It is that time of year when it is cold out side and time for gifts of all sorts. I put a picture of some books I have listed on the Ebay store that I thought you would really like.

The Dazzling Quilts Book is 96 pages and has quilt and Bag patterns that can only be called Dazzling, it is by Pamela Mostek and uses beads, metallic thread, and machine embroidery to wow a quilt or block at a time.

The other book "Making Antique Quilts by Rita Weiss" is fantastic when it comes to Antique Quilts, with 20 patterns in side would keep you busy for at least 10 years. And each are selling for $23.95, + free shipping.

I have more books listed that are just as dazzling as them come give the store a look at, you may even find the fabric to use with them.

 

As a note about my Ebay store, "All my items are FREE SHIPPING".

Earlier I was requesting a recipe for muffins, I found one and a jello Cranberry/Pineapple Minni's, and a old recipe for Rhubarb Pecan upside-Down cake. I happened on to a old Better Homes and Garden cook book (1979) and wow, did I hit pay dirt or recipe's.

There was a (1978) Kellogg's cook Book also, I found these at the GW which I go to pretty regular, at $1.79 each.

Well enough of food and back to sewing, and (Jewelry), I mentioned in early Blogs I also make Jewelry, and I will list  a few of the Set's I have made and see how they go.. I make earring's and a necklace to match sets. I will try to list them by the first of the year, (two weeks).

Just think the year is over already, 2013 here you come!!

Hi Everyone..

 

 

Sorry about the long time in between my Blog post..I am starting to realize I cannot multi task like I use to. I concentrate on one thing at a time.  And I am here to Blog about fabric and other quilting subjects!

 

The store is coming along, slowly but surely!!

I have listed more books, and have a few fabrics on sale @  $15.95. That's 3 yards for $15.95 plus Free shipping. I have all but a few fabrics listed, and working on the few left. I will also try to get my strip bundles up soon.

A LITTLE HINT..
Has anyone had a chance to look at the information on needles and thread. I found a rule in the information, not to use polyester thread when quilting on cotton because it will pull in the fabric when washed, leaving puckering. Just a little hint.

I hope everyone will come and visit my EBay store (Logo link on Right side) and check out all the bargains. I sell only 100% cotton New fabric, some of my strips are from my personal stash but new fabric. I have a very large personal stash that I could cut from for a while and not run short.

How are some of your projects coming?? I know they are beautiful, because I fell all quilting is beautiful and personal as the talented persons that created them. I have 2 UFO that I have not shown anyone as yet, and as soon as I complete a big enough section, I will show pictures. My latest work has been on reversible.. I love to work on them because you can see your creations almost immediately. This method is easy on the arms and back, (Arthritis problems).

Well all for now, I need to work on my Store listings and much more.

 I apologize.....
To what you may say?.. my spelling!!
If some one who reads my Blog would comment and remind me of my being senile and help me with spelling or I just need to do a spell check more often. In fact with every Blog, so did anyone notice my misspelling of Afficial. (Official) in the last Blog.  SORRY.. do you know the similarities in the spelling (senile and senior). So they are easily mixed up.  Just a little humor to keep you all and I on the same page. SOOOOOOOOOO back to Quilting and sewing.

Like this mouse, I need all the information my mind will take in at my age. They say the more the mental activity the better the mind!!!
Thinking of information or Book's..I started to add book's to the Ebay Store(1) so check it out when you have time and drop a comment on whether I should put 2 books together or each separate.

I know this is off the subject of sewing, but I am looking for a recipe for Bran Muffins. One with less sugar as possible. I am a diabetic and control my sugars with my diet. And the morning coffee club here at the house that I will make them for, does not need more sugar either. (No sugar substitutes). I heard apple sauce and Cinnamon are good sub.

OK!!!  Next.....

I have these fabric's listed on the Ebay store and I think they are nice summer prints, I am parcel to the Lavender because they remind me of Lilac's, my favorite summer flower. The yellow is a good match for a bright pink or yellow quilt pattern.

IT IS AFFICIAL!

I am all moved in and unpacked.. two months of packing and one month of unpacking and putting things in their place.
I hope everyone is well, quilting and creating something beautiful.
I have the machine out and in its place, but no activety yet. I have been working on the EBay store too and put most of the fabric up for sale.
The fabric I have pictured above is on SALE with two others. So come check it out...(click on Logo)

I will list some Books next (soon), I still would like some comments on the store or some sewing idea's I can list or talk about.

There will be a page on Hints and information, like Thread and needles and more that I can find.
I listed some special Links on the Home page. I have one I will list for a African Beed Store.
I make Jewelry too, so that will have to come soon..I could also use another pair of hands.

Well I need to break and do some other stuff as they say, soo see everyone soon. Not 2 months from now, but soon.

New store up and running ok!

Hello Everyone!!

How are all the quilters and sewers doing??
Just letting everyone know the store is doing good, and I have had sales already. So come check it out, you can click on my Logo to the write (Balloon) and see how I am doing. I sell by three yards till the fabric is gone and if your lucky and pick the last of a bolt there are free bee's. There may be fabric or free patterns, And a big FREE SHIPPING  (US). I like giving out extras it makes it more fun. I even got my home page done, but it is still a work in progress. I would love to hear some comments as to how it is coming along. You can leave them on the EBay store or here. I know there is a Quilter out there that wants to say something!

I am going to collect information on the up coming Quilt shows and Expo's and get them on the EBay store, I'll put them on a information page with information I have on thread and other things.
So you just have to keep checking back.

I have another project with the store..I want to get some of my books listed, I have so many that I can't wait for everyone to see them. I will have free shipping for them too, some special books may be a little higher than others, but thay are worth it. There will be some that are not avialable from the pubishers any more, it will be interesting.

NEW Ebay store address!!

Hello Everyone!!

I am still here.. slow as always.. but still around. I really have been working hard on the EBay store trying to get things listed and organized for everyone to see.
Like I said; in the last post, I am selling in 3yard lots and Free Shipping. I will also post how much yardage is available, so if you want more than three yards you can change the quantity and order 3 more yards and ect.. if not you will know what is available.
Example;  If I show 12 yards available you can put 4 in the quantity, 4 x 3 = 12 yards. And you will get 12 yards. I thought it simple enough, I will see how it goes.
I will keep listing untill I get most of my Items on I want to sell. International shipping will get costly so if you keep the yardage down it will be more reasonable. Canada and Mexico is the cheapest.

Check it out and let me know what you think and comment here on my post. I am still working on all the fancy stuff for the pages, but the listing came first. It took me 3 weeks to get it down in my head and then get the listing done and in order, I will work on the extra stuff after the listings.
I am going to list more of my books, I have a lot of quilting books with patterns,quilt idea's and more that I need to sell  too. I am going to miss the store, I was comfortable there, but I have to move on.
